The International Life Saving Federation hosted its 100th World Championships at Mamoura Beach, Alexandria, last month and among the contestants from 70 countries were Cottesloe Surf Life Saving Club masters Stan Davies, John Lishman and Euan Poulton.

Stan dominated in his age group, winning all the individual craft events and teaming with Euan to take out the board rescue.

Stan successfully defended his ironman and surf ski titles, won at Warnemunde Beach in Germany two years ago.

John easily won his 2km run and the surf ski in the 40 years age group and came second in his ironman and board races.

Euan also came third in the 60 years board race.

The trio then combined to come second in both the surf ski relay and the ironman relay.
