First impressions:
I thought the shape, finish, veneer, spray on my Professional and look was awesome!!
First use: First couple of surfs was good on a powerful beach break, went well, have been riding fish on everything for 10 months so quite a difference.
Over a bit of time: I rode my Pro in all waves for a while, say 1/2 dozen surfs, struggles in smaller waves due to a couple of reasons: surf was bad for a while here; only surfing once a week or once a fortnight that’s bad.
Got back on my fish for 2 surfs in small stuff then got back on my Sunova Pro on a smokin bank at Gunnamatta. As soon as I started paddling it all seemed to come together, the Pro Shortboard felt perfect in really fast, steep jacking wave head high and powerful.
That is what I got this board for, so I was excited at 1st so rode it in waves it wasn't suited to but that all helped tune it in. Looking forward to using on reef breaks, say Cathederal on west coast at 4-6 foot, and also ordering a
Sunova Drifter Quad from you guys.
