The overall appearance of the Sunova Extractor is stunning - Its rails, its even and pronounced rocker, its modest rounded pin tail all come together to make for a good looking board!

Then when you are surfing!! The width appeared to me to be too great, but when I saw it in the flesh, it just looked so balanced and refined….!!!!

Paddles into waves with confidence and holds a really confident position dropping into solid waves. It really handled late takeoffs well...... very well........ it kind of slid down the face and locked into the right spot of the heaving wall…… then it rocketed diagonally, down slightly and across and out to safety [this was all happening when I had my eyes closed thinking I was going down 'the mine'.......].

I was also impressed by the way it completely holds in, accelerating, during bottom turns in ‘heaving situations, yet you can still go and bust the fins out in a top turn down the line. The perfect amount of traction and release for me in waves that scare me…. I guess this is my gun from now on. I have got more confidence in my Extractor than my other gun….. so I just sold it! I can thoroughly recommend the Extractor for surfing solid waves to anyone who can identify with what I was searching for. I am really happy with my order!!
