Terry Wild ► Bert Burger Hi Bert. I am thinking about the wave hog board. I live on the South coast of NSW and Neil Elphic said I should ask your opinion. As you can see from my profile, I am a mal rider, but I want something to replace my 6 10 surftech soulfish for beach breaks and bigger days.
Thanks for your help.

Bert Burger hey Terry , sorry on the delay , creating surfboards means sweating it out everyday , hard to get to the computer after a day in the dust pit ...
wavehog .... if i had to generalise , the wavehog offers both reasonable performance along with good paddle power ...
the back end is the same as our high performance shortboard Pro , with the front end more like a typical hybrid, allowing better paddle power..
so off the back foot its still good for hacks and performance power surfing , the wider nose helps it carry through dead spots and better wave entry ...
the typical customer over the years has been the aging surfer , finding that their starting to struggle on there regular shortboard , but they dont want to make the transition to a full on longboard...
also the longboarder that wants to transition to a short board with going from one extreme to the other...
in your case , you should get by on a 7' wavehog , that comes in at 21 wide ...
hope that helps , if you want to email direct with more queries , you can get me at bert@sunovasurfboards.com
